Why book your vacation at The Victoria?
Five simple but important points:
1. On-Site Management:
Colin is The Victoria’s owner and host. He lives on site with his dog Margarita and is available 24 hours a day to offer assistance. Colin greets each guest upon check-in and gives every guest a send off when checking out to ensure a comfortable arrival and departure. Any maintenance issue can also be directly reported to Colin, who will make the necessary repairs in a timely fashion. Furthermore, ALL reservations are organized and approved by Colin, which means that when you book with The Victoria, you are only dealing with Colin and not a third party, which decreases any likelihood of complications and confusion.
2. Security and Surveillance:
The Victoria is protected by a perimeter gate, a main door, as well as equipped with six closed- captioned security cameras that record movement in several common areas of the property. Every suite is equipped with a high security safe for valuables storage.
3. Health and Safety Systems:
All units and indoor public spaces at The Victoria are equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to ensure a safe environment for all guests. Fire extinguishers are clearly identified and accessible to guests. Although all guests are provided with in-room bottled drinking water, The Victoria’s water system is also equipped with several particulate filters, an ultra violet light filter, a water softener, as well as an impurity detection system so to ensure that water from the taps is safe for such uses as washing, bathing, cooking, and drinking. The Victoria’s sewage system is also state of the art, meaning that guests may flush their toilet paper.
4. Prime Location:
We are centrally located one block south of the Carretera (the main road through town), 4.5 blocks East of the Aijic plaza, and just half a block from the Wednesday tianguis (pop up) market. A grocery store, restaurants, shopping, a veterinarian, and an English-speaking general practitioner are all located within a couple minutes walk.
5. One Stop Shop:
The Victoria is much more than a place to stay; it is an all-encompassing experience that helps maximize the enjoyment of your vacation, while minimizing the logistics in scheduling and paying for products and experiences. Guests are welcomed to the property through our beautiful Mexican-themed gift shop, which includes various metal, ceramic, and glass products found in the region. Services that we offer also include breakfast and cooking classes prepared by our in-house chef, discounts on our tours to Guadalajara, the Guachinmontones Pyramids, the town and region of Tequila, as well as our newest tour, the Lucha Libres (Masked Mexican wrestlers) of Guadalajara. We also offer in-house events, which include our social gatherings on the last Friday of every month, and our live performances on the first Sunday of every month. We can even arrange for you to be picked up at the airport upon your arrival. For those visiting with the hopes of moving to Mexico, we also offer referrals to local real estate agencies and legal services.
